Product Description
Tris(2-ethylhexyl) phosphate is a colorless, odorless, and transparent viscous liquid. It is a special plasticizer that combines flame-retardant and cold-resistant properties. It has better low-temperature performance than diethyl esters, excellent water resistance, low volatility, remarkable gelling properties, and can impart excellent mechanical properties, UV stability, aging resistance, flame resistance, and antibacterial properties to products. It is commonly used in military PVC products, adhesives, coatings, synthetic rubber ethylene resins, and cellulose resins. It has poor plasticization and heat resistance, but when used in combination with Tricresyl phosphate (TCP), its performance can be improved.
The most widespread applications of TOP are primarily in the following three industries:

Pesticide Industry
TOP is employed as both a solvent and a surfactant to enhance the surface anionic activity of pesticide formulations. These formulations can generate compounds capable of effectively eliminating harmful organisms, including herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides. Herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides have a substantial market, with pinoxaden® developed by Syngenta being a prominent example of their application.

Hydrogen peroxide Manufacturing Industry
TOP is used as a solvent for hydrogen peroxide(H2O2). It has a high solubility for hydrogen peroxide, a high distribution coefficient between water and the solvent, a high boiling point, and a high flash point. TOP replaces hydrogenated tallow alcohol, resulting in high product concentration, good quality, and minimal self-consumption.

Tire Industry
The tire industry has a huge demand base for rubber tires, and there are increasingly strict requirements for environmental protection, flame resistance, cold resistance, and aging resistance. This provides favorable conditions for the market development of environmentally friendly rubber plasticizers like TOP. TOP is used by international tire giants to produce low-rolling resistance tires.

Extractant Industry
TOP can be used as an extractant in the production of titanium dioxide using the extraction method. Before the advent of the extraction method, the mainstream titanium dioxide production processes in China were the chloride process and the traditional sulfate process. Compared to traditional processes, the extraction method combines the advantages of sulfuric acid process technology and chlorination pulping process technology.

TOP should be sealed and stored in a cool, dry, and ventilated place, kept moisture-proof and waterproof, and far away from kindling material and heat sources. Galvanized drum, 180kg net each.
